Set in the lush, serene surroundings of Ahangama, Sri Lanka, this week is designed to bring you back to your natural rhythm through deep relaxation practices, nourishing movement, and intentional stillness.

THE LOCATION:

The house features five thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each offering a tranquil sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation. At the heart of the space is an expansive yoga shala, open to the soft morning light and the rhythmic sounds of nature, an ideal setting for deep practice and introspection. Cosy indoor living areas invite moments of quiet reflection, while the spacious outdoor dining space sets the scene for nourishing meals shared under the open sky. The infinity pool, seamlessly blending with the surrounding greenery, provides a refreshing escape, perfect for cooling off after a day of movement and relaxation.

During the quieter season, Ahangama transforms into a place of stillness, where the usual energy of surf culture and bustling cafés slows into a more peaceful rhythm. With fewer crowds, the local community feels even more welcoming, offering a glimpse into the authentic day-to-day life of this Sri Lankan coastal gem. It’s the perfect time to sink into presence, immerse in the natural beauty, and embrace a retreat experience that feels deeply intimate and restorative.

FAQs

  • Check in on the 22nd will be at 3pm. We suggest arriving at this time to get settled into your new space, meet your new friends and be ready for our opening ceremony at 5pm  

  • Check out will be at 11am. We will rise as normal and enjoy our morning practice, breakfast and a closing ceremony. 

  • The most efficient way would be via private car/taxi. This could be between $50-100 depending on if you are sharing or solo. Closer to the date, we will be available to arrange car sharing with your fellow retreat friends if the times align.  There is also the option of public bus which is alot cheaper.

  • All rooms can be arranged as either a king sized bed, or twins share.

  • I personally recommend stopping in Galle for a night on your way down the coast (it is about half way between the airport and retreat centre). It is a beautiful old town built within a fort, and feels like you are stepping spain or portugal. It has beautiful cafes and boutique shopping, aswell as some rich history. 

  • Not at all! Our retreats are designed for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. We will be practicing a variety of different lineages and techniques including Traditional Tantric Hatha, Himalayan Kriya, Breathwork, Yin and Slow Flow.

Terms and Conditions

By booking and participating in this retreat, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure your spot.

  • Full payment must be completed by 1st September 2025. If full payment is not received by this date, your booking may be forfeited.

  • Payment plans may be available upon request.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made before 19th August will receive a refund minus the deposit.

  • Cancellations made after 19th August will not be eligible for a refund.

  • If the retreat is canceled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or credit towards a future retreat will be offered.

3. Travel & Insurance

  • Participants are responsible for booking their own flights and transportation to the retreat location.

  • It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations, medical expenses, or travel disruptions.

4. Health & Safety

  • Participants must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or dietary restrictions prior to the retreat.

  • The retreat includes physical activities such as yoga and breathwork; participation is at your own risk.

  • The organiser and instructors are not liable for any injuries or health issues that may arise during the retreat.

5. Conduct & Respect

  • Participants are expected to act respectfully towards fellow attendees, instructors, and retreat staff.

  • Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from the retreat without refund.

6. Photography & Media

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes.

  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the organiser in advance.

7. Liability Waiver

  • By attending this retreat, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating and assume all risks associated with travel and physical activities.

  • The organiser is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the retreat.
